Chillar River

The Chillar River is a popular place among lovers of hiking and nature.
The route along the river is of medium difficulty and it is recommended to go well equipped with sneakers and shorts.

The Chillar River begins at more than 1200 meters.

It can be divided into 7 segments:

• About 800 meters: Birth.
• From 800 to 640 meters: Shallow gorge.
• From 640 to 500 meters: rapids and waterfalls.
• From 500 to 400 meters: open valley.
• From 400 to 260 meters: fountains, waterfalls and multiple rapids.
• From 260 to 140 meters: The Cubs throat.
• From 140 to 0 meters: Throat joined to the Mediterranean Sea.

The main tributary of the Chillar River, which it joins near its birth, is the Higuerón river.
