Dolmens of Antequera
The Dolmens of are an archaeological set that is formed by the Dolmen of Menga, the Dolmen of Viera, Tholos of El Romeral and some sites such as the Lovers’ Rock and the Torcal of Antequera.
The Dolmen of Menga was declared a Cultural and World Heritage Site in 2016.
It is a corridor sepulcher built in the year 4700b.C. with very large horizontal and vertical stones.
It was declared a Cultural Heritage and a World Heritage Site in 2016.
It is a sepulcher corridor that is oriented toward the sunrise in the equinoxes.
It was built in the year 4000b.C. although it was not discovered until 1903.
It was declared a Cultural Interest and Heritage of Humanity in 2016.
It was built in the year 3800a.C. and was discovered in 1904.
