Ronda Arab baths
Arab baths
The Arab baths of Ronda are located in the Saint Miguel neighborhood. This neighborhood was an old Islamic suburb.
They were located in the suburbs to satisfy the services that the travelers needed.
The baths worked as follows: The water rose by a ferris wheel from the Guadalevín River and the stream of the Culebras. It passed by an aqueduct built on arches and came to the bath rooms.
They had rooms of cold, tempered and hot water. To have hot water they used the hypocaust system.
