Albayzin
Barrio Albayzin

It is an old Arab district of Granada located about 800 meters above sea level.
In the eleventh century, the first Muslim court, the Ziri, was erected.
The golden era of the Albayzin was in the last years of the Nasrid domination. It has 30 mosques and more than forty thousand inhabitants.
